Joel Javier, a Filipino-American chef, has been working in the food industry for 18 years. While cooking with and learning from renowned chefs around the world, Javier's food philosophy highlights the importance of using every part of the animal and working with seasonal ingredients at their peak- letting their individual flavors shine. From the flavors and cooking techniques he's learned through his travels, Javier was inspired to link his Filipino heritage to who he is as a chef today. And so Javier's voyage into New-American Filipino cuisine began.
